Concrete elements for the Papua New Guinea LNG project

Printer-friendly version

A new precast site in the adjacent port of Ciwandan on West Java was set up by BAM to make the concrete elements for the Papua New Guina LNG project.

At the new yard, a BAM Decorient team is producing T-beams and headstocks that are required to provide an access road on the 2.4-kilometre long trestle that forms a crucial part of the Papua New Guinea project. Other elements that will come from the yard include pile caps, T-beams and deck slabs for the construction of a concrete substation and loading platform of the jetty.
